Cabot Cheese Shipping Policy

How Do We Ship Cabot Cheese?

We take great care in packaging your cheese to ensure it arrives in the freshest possible condition. Most orders with perishable items are shipped via FedEx 2nd Day Air, while orders shipping within Vermont are sent via FedEx Ground.

Temperature and Packaging Guidelines

Our cheese is crafted to endure various shipping conditions and will hold up well during transit. Here's how we manage temperature:

  • Below 60°F at the destination: No ice packs are necessary.
  • Above 60°F at the destination: We include an insulated liner and ice packs to maintain optimal freshness.

If you're unsure about your location's temperature, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

When Your Order Arrives

Your cheese may arrive slightly warmer than when it left our facility, but this will not affect its quality. Once it arrives, we recommend refrigerating your cheese to preserve its flavor and texture.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Hawaii and Alaska.

Please note that we do not ship to:

  • PO Boxes
  • APO, DPO, or FPO addresses
  • U.S. Territories
